Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.
• Facilitate intercompany transactions between affiliated entities, including intercompany
billings, payments, and settlements.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances, ensuring all transactions are
properly recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, working closely with counterparts in other
departments or subsidiaries to address issues and discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with the collections team to develop and implement strategies for improving
collections and reducing bad debt.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as needed.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
Preferred skills and qualifications

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Oracle, MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Office
