About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Technology to lead our
dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will develop and refine the strategies and
technologies that drive our innovative products and solutions. Working closely with
diverse teams, you will outline technical roadmaps, design scalable solutions, and ensure
the successful realization of our product vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of comprehensive technology solutions and product architecture,
aligning with our business goals and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define clear product visions,
objectives, and technical needs.
- Translate high-level technical requirements into detailed product architecture plans.
- Direct the architectural design process, specifying system components, modules,
interfaces, and data flows.
- Choose the best technologies, frameworks, and platforms to support product and
solutions development efforts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes to test architectural concepts.
- Provide technical guidance to the engineering team, encouraging adherence to
architectural standards and best practices.
- Play a key role in recruiting engineering talent to enhance our team’s capabilities.
- Ensure effective cooperation among engineering, design, and QA teams for cohesive
product feature development.
- Regularly review product architecture to ensure its performance, scalability, and
security, and recommend improvements as needed.- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and architectural methodologies.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong leadership experience in technology, with a solid history of developing
complex software products.
- At least 12 years' experience in the IT Consulting and Services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design strategies, and best
practices.
- Skilled in designing scalable, distributed systems and knowledgeable in cloud
technologies.
- Proficient in Python, ML, Java, and experienced with advanced front-end and back-
end technology integration.
- Good understanding in Full Stack development frameworks like MERN, and API
development.
- Preferably experienced with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional
teams and stakeholders.
- Experienced with Agile development methodologies and flexible with dynamic,
iterative development environments.
- Familiar with the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Capable of developing technical solutions, drafting proposals, and responding to
client RFPs
